My name is Charlotte Whaley and I am a character animator in 2D and 3D. I am often asked how I got started and I always reply that it all began with an idea and a pencil.  I started drawing at an early age and watched the Disney Classics such as "Peter Pan", "Beauty and the Beast" and "Aladdin". Some of my favorite animated films were animated by Don Bluth, Rich Richard, and Liron Pe'er, I would watch all the animation films I can get my hands on, over and over again.  I was always interested in the Diamond version of the Classics because they included "behind the scenes" interviews with the animators and how they drew and developed the animated characters. I knew then that I wanted to be an animator, modeler, and artist and did my part in a fan film called "Mossflower", which was canceled. Then I continued my development as an artist at the Art Institute of Washington and later the Art Institute of Virginia Beach. Animation and film making is my passion!
